  1. While many folks simply call Sunfish Bluegills, these are actually Green Sunfish (Lepomis Cyanellus) not Bluegills. Regardless, Sunfish are FUN fish!!!

      Here in Truckee, we will still call them Bluegills
      (Lepomis Macrochirus Species / Centrarchidae Family / Lepomis Genus)…Whatever we call them, they are great fish…
